Payment

All prices at stardustlab.dk are in Danish Krone and include moms. 

We offer the following payment options for the rental items:

• Dankort
• Visa / Dankort
• Mastercard
• International credit cards

Cash payment is accepted only physically at our address.

The payment is withdrawn from the credit card once the item/s are sent. 

For bank transfer payments, the items are sent after we have received the transfer.

We offer the following payment options for the rental items:

Pay with a gift card:

•  At checkout, fill in the code in the “Gift card/credit card” box and press “Apply”.
•  If the total amount of the purchase is greater than the value on the gift card, you can use another payment method to cover the difference.
• If the total amount for the purchase is less than the value on the gift card, the rest is stored on the same code and you can use it for another order.
• You can only use one gift card on your order, but if you have several, you can combine them via your – A gift card cannot be exchanged for cash.

Shipping

The orders of products in stock will be processed during the next 3 business days. 

That includes products in the categories Tan, Jewellery, Trunks, and master pieces .

If the product is not in stock you will be contacted with further information about the estimated waiting time.

Cancelation and Returns

It is possible to cancel the order by contacting us at stardustlab.dk@gmail.com  before it is sent. 

Once the order is received it is possible to return the item/s  within the next 14 days, in the exact same conditions, unused, and in the same original packaging. Please contact us by email in case you want to return. You will receive a full refund, once we have received and inspected the items.

Custom design orders are non-refundable.

Rental Terms & Conditions

By placing a rental order with us, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

Our goal is to make you happy and satisfied with our service while we each take our responsibilities in case something unfortunate happens.

Rental Bookings

• Bookings can be made directly via the website, or in person at our showroom after a previous appointment at stardustlab.dk@gmail.com
• We take bookings up to 6 months in advance. Bookings are secured when the booking fee is paid in full. The booked bikini will be sent to you in good time before the agreed rental period or can be picked up in person on the agreed date.
• We encourage athletes to come in person to our showroom and try your rental bikini to ensure that your expectations with the product are met. Minor adjustments can be made after the booking fee is paid in full. To book a fitting appointment you can write us at stardustlab.dk@gmail.com or DM our Instagram @stardust_lab
• If customers receive an item that is not as described, or faulty, athletes are expected to contact Stardust Lab within 2 hours of receipt of the item and we will arrange an exchange, or refund of the booking fee once the item is received back at the studio.

Rental Bikini Returns

• A regular rental period is for a duration of 7 to 10 days.
• This means the bikini is due to be returned during the agreed hours on the last day of the booking. Customers are expected to return the item in the same protective case / box, unwashed . Once a rental item has been collected, there are no returns or refunds for change of mind if the item is returned unworn within the rental period or on the booking end date.
• Post Returns: For customers posting items after the hire, items must be posted on the 7th day in the return Express Post bag provided by us (unless otherwise agreed at the time of hire). Postage item location can be tracked via the tracking numbers provided by us at the time of delivery.
• Customers are expected to notify Stardust Lab urgently if there is a delay in returning the item.
• If customers receive an item that is not as described, or faulty, customers are expected to contact Stardust Lab within 2 hours of receipt of the item and we will arrange exchange, or refund of the booking fee once the item is received back at the boutique.
• Late returns attract a Late fee of 10% of the hire price per day that the return is late, after the last day of booking. Late fees will be charged to the customer credit card details that were provided at the time of booking
• If the customer has not returned the rental item(s) within 20 days after the return date, Stardust Lab will consider the rental item(s) as non-returned and will charge the User’s credit card 100% of the recommended retail value (up to 7.000 dkk) in addition to the rental cost that the User has already paid. The credit card on file will be charged and if unsuccessful, referred to a debt collection agency.

Cancellation Policy

• Rental Bookings: A 150 dkk cancellation fee per order applies to all canceled bookings. If your event is canceled or you cancel your hire, Stardust Lab will happily refund the rental amount minus the 150 dkk cancellation fee. The 150 dkk cancellation fee applies per bikini. Cancellations must be advised 5 days prior to the rental start date before the item is collected by the customer or posted to the customer. 
• Last Minute orders: If a client places an order less than 10 days prior to the start date of the rental booking, this is considered a “Last Minute order”. Stardust Lab will not take responsibility for any post delays caused by the carrier. Last minute orders are not eligible for a refund and therefore, to ensure a good service and fit we recommend our clients to book an appointment asap and visit our showroom in person.
• Stardust Lab reserves the right to cancel a booking at short notice. Reasons for cancellation may include (but are not limited to) a bikini not being available due to a late return by a previous customer or damage to a bikini. Stardust Lab will provide as much notice as possible. In the event of a cancellation by Stardust Lab, Stardust Lab will offer a full refund, or the option to change the booking to another bikini at half of the standard rental price (excluding rent extensions).

Condition of rental items

All bikinis available to rent at Stardust Lab are items that have been worn previously and are rigorously cleaned, and restored by Stardust Lab. Stardust Lab provides each rental with a newly replaced fabric panty liner glued onto the bikini for hygienic reasons. Stardust Lab also mends, repairs, and replaces the lost crystals to ensure the perfect condition of the bikinis. The condition of rental items is “as new” or “near new”. Due to the nature of the item being worn multiple times, there may be minor visible repairs and imperfections at a closer look, yet unnoticeable on stage. We recommend all customers inspect garments before renting. Thank you for joining the greener and more affordable alternative by renting a bikini.

Postage

• We only post rental bikinis within Denmark. We use Postnord, which enables a 2 day delivery in most areas. 
• The return postage will include a prepaid return label which is addressed to our business.

Cleaning and repairs

• The bikini panties come with a piece of fabric glued as a protective panty liner. The customer may strip off this fabric liner before returning the bikini. After the bikini is washed and disinfected, a new liner will be placed. 
• Customers agree not to attempt to clean the bikini.
• If the customer attempts to clean it and it results in permanent damage, additional costs may be incurred.
• We expect our customers to take good care of the rental item. However, some damage may occur. For minor damage that is repairable, Stardust Lab will not charge customers ( normal tan stains, bikini bite, and a few missing stones…)
• For major damage and/or staining Stardust Lab will assess (at its sole discretion) the cost of repairs. The repair or replacement costs will be charged to the customer’s credit card details that were provided at the time of booking. Customers will be notified of all charges in advance. Repair or replacement costs may be up to the amount listed as the Recommended Retail Price (RRP) at the time of booking, less the booking fee.
• If the item gets lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair, whether or not such loss, theft, or damage is attributable to any negligence, failure, or omission of the customer then the customer will be liable to pay for replacement of the item. In assessing the replaceable value, Stardust Lab will take into account, the demand for that bikini, the quality and amount of stones, as well as the hand labor cost. Charges can be up to 80% of the recommended retail value in addition to the rental cost that the customer has already paid.

By renting a garment I accept the terms and conditions.

By accepting the terms and conditions, I authorize Stardust Lab to charge the provided credit card according to the terms outlined above. This payment authorization is for the goods/services described above, for the amount indicated above only. I certify that I am an authorized user of this credit card and that I will not dispute the payment with my credit card company; so long as the transaction corresponds to the terms indicated in this form.

If Stardust Lab does not receive payment from your credit card provider or if your credit card expires or is rejected, you agree to pay all amounts due upon demand. Stardust Lab reserves the right to take all steps necessary to collect amounts due from you, including but not limited to legal action and/or using third-party debt collection agencies.

PRIVACY DECLARATION:  Personal Information collected and/or held by Stardust Lab will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected or otherwise in accordance with the National Privacy Principles (NPPs). Stardust Lab will hold this information securely, and will only disclose personal information in accordance with its Privacy Declaration.
